  4. The modern day interpretation of the Madagascar flag colors are red standing for sovereignty, white represents purity and green means hope.

  5. Transportation Car rentals, private and collective taxis, and public transportation are all on hand and planes

  6. Arts and Culture The Mahafaly have a remarkable wood-carving industry, and their tombs of coloured stones and carved wooden posts are among the most beautiful on the island.
