  15. Helpful Tips • Make sure we have your everyday email address. Check it regularly. MBA Student Services communicates official information to you via the MBA listservs, like deadline reminders and graduation information. • Know your registration deadlines and add/drop dates. Register for your courses early online usingthe web registration (WebReg) system. • Pay your term bill by the due date, else a $125 late fee will apply. If you don’t pay by the due date, the Registrar will deactivate your registration, you will lose Blackboard access and Student Accounts will add the late fee. • Know and understand the MBA curriculum. Core & foundation courses should be completed first. Most concentration courses/electives have core prerequisites. • Use your “Degree Completeness Worksheet” in conjunction with the concentration guidelines to determine your course selection. Keep records of all actions for advanced standing/substitutions or exceptions to university policy and regulations.

  16. Making it Through • Avoid working part-time. Full-time MBA students will need more than 60 hours each week for classes, projects, readings, and group meetings. • Don’t miss more than one class per semester (and if you do, your grades may reflect it!). • Impress your teammates. They may grade you. • If you are unprepared for class, tell your professor ahead of time. • If you are arriving late or not attending class, tell your professor ahead of time. • Enjoy learning.
