Empowering Young Talent: Apprenticeships in Live Events through NSA Partnership
The National Skills Academy for Creative & Cultural (NSA) partners with 20 colleges and over 260 industry members to provide apprenticeships focused on live events. This initiative supports young people from Fairground Families, skilled in rigging, lighting, and event management, but often lacking formal qualifications. Through tailored Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, apprentices gain hands-on experience and access to critical skills at no cost. This approach enhances community opportunities, fosters personal development, and creates pathways for careers in vibrant sectors like music, theatre, and festivals.
