Overview • SB 7 prescribes four goals for ERCOT • These have been incorporated into a Mission Statement that was adopted by the ERCOT Board (August 2002) • ERCOT’s staff, operating under the general oversight of both the LOC and the PUC, and under the policy direction of the Board, is responsible for developing the systems and processes needed to meet these goals

  4. Future Meetings • Presentations by senior staff will provide opportunities for direct interaction with Board • Will also provide other “interested parties” to monitor activities and to “track” progress • Changes in priority or emphasis will be noted as “exceptions” • High-level support to TAC will continue

  6. Conclusions • Steady progress continues • Key staff additions have been made and are fully engaged: • Ken Shoquist and Ray Giuliani • Steve Wallace and Gary Stroud • Internal realignments are nearly complete • Office space remains an issue
