People, places, things? c. Who was the poem written for? Why? 3. Determine what the tone and mood of the poem is through key words and meanings. In the bottom right hand corner, create 2 labels-one that says tone: and one that says mood: and answer those. 4. Go through the poem and highlight all the words that help create the mood of the poem. 5. Re-write the poem on a new sheet of paper.
