Expectations • You communicate with your mentee both through email and in person. • Serve as a networking resource in your field. • Be aware of resources available to Harvard College Students. • Notify mentee of Program events. • Be supportive of education career aspirations • Maintain professional relationship with your mentee • Emphasize diversity in the field

  5. Tips • Find appropriate places to meet • Gutman, Lamont, Starbucks (working on funding) • Meet face to face soon after matching • Share your story with an emphasis on the transition from undergrad to whatever your next step was • Provide resources and information, don’t impose
