Implementation Update of PG&E’s 2009-2011 LIEE and CARE Programs

  2. Low Income Energy Efficiency at PG&E: 2007-2011 The 2009-2011 program is a major expansion of LIEE program goals and budget.

  3. LIEE Program Activity: January 1 – April 30, 2009 • PG&E has trained: • 100 Energy Specialists, • 97 Weatherization Specialists, and • 61 Natural Gas Appliance Testing Technicians • PG&E has: • 10 new Weatherization contractors • 15 new HVAC contractors

Implementing the Whole Neighborhood Approach Recent and Upcoming PG&E WNA events: • Firebaugh (Fresno County) – June 11, 2009 • Napa Senior Housing Apartment Complex – June 15, 2009 • City of Madera, Madera County – June 15, 2009 • Fremont, Alameda County – June 25, 2009 • Oakland Fruitvale District, Alameda County – June 30, 2009 The Energy Partners Program has participated in over 25 community events and programs promoting our services to income qualified customers. Including distribution of our program information through the various local food banks.
