  4. Les questions avec inversion p. 60 C YES/NO QUESTIONS can be formed according to the pattern: VERB + SUBJECT PRONOUN (+ REST OF SENTENCE) Parlez-vousfrançais? In inverted questions, the verb and the subject pronoun are joined with a hyphen. In inverted questions, the sound / t / is pronounced between the verb and the subject pronouns il, elle, ils, elles, and on. Note that if the il/elle/on-form of the verb ends in a vowel, the letter -t- is inserted between the verb and the pronoun. Il a un job. A-t-il un bon job? Elle travaille. Travaille-t-elle beaucoup?
