  3. DEPARTURE TIMING 9 March 2012 Assemble in School – 6.30 am on 9th March; Depart by coach at 7.00am 12 March 2012 Depart by train at 02.00 pm. Arrive at Singapore at 10.15am. Return to School at about 11.00am

P5 CAMP TAMAN NEGARA (PAHANG) Groupings (Pupils and Teachers) : Number of pupils : 143 Every group consists of about 10 pupils Every group will be accompanied by 1 teacher  Ratio 1 : 10 Number of Staff: 15 teachers + principal + school counsellor  17 adults (excluding the rangers during the activities)

  9. D01 Singapore / Jerantut (L/D) 0630hrs Assemble in school 0700hrs Departure from school to 2nd Link (Tuas Checkpoint) 0900hrs We will clear immigration and customs. Stopover for toilet break and breakfast stop. 0930hrs Continue journey onward to Jerantut 1200hrs Lunch break at Ayer Keroh local restaurant 1300hrs Departure to Jerantut Town 1700hrs Estimated time arrival in your accommodation (Jerantut Hill Resort). Check in. 1900hrs Dinner in the hotel 2030hrs Briefing in the hall. 2130hrs Rest for the evening.

P5 CAMP TAMAN NEGARA (PAHANG) • D02 Canopy Walk / Jungle Trek to Bukit Teresek / Batek Tribe – Orang Asli Settlement (B/L/D) • Breakfast • Depart for Taman Negara. • Arrival in Taman Negara National Park. Assemble and board the boat to Canopy Walkway • Rapid Shooting • Lunch at floating Restaurant • Board the boat ride to see to visit the Orang Asli Settlement after lunch • Return back to Jerantut town , wash up and dinner will be served in the hotel ( or NKS Café ) Canopy Walkway

P5 CAMP TAMAN NEGARA (PAHANG) • D03 Cave Exploration : Gua Terang Bulan / Agro Farm Tour (B/L/D) • Breakfast • Departure to Kota Gelangi for caving • Lunch • After lunch, board coach to Tekam Plantation. • Return to Jerantut. Wash up and prepare for tonight campfire activities • Dinner , Campfire night – sing a along session / games • Supper • Transfer to Jerantut Train Station for overnight train

  23. TRAVELLING ADVICE • BAGGAGE • Pupils are advised not to carry more than one luggage bag. • Bring along a backpack/haversack. Sling bags are not encouraged. • CURRENCY • It is strongly recommended to change Malaysian Ringgit in Singapore. • VISAS • Visa required for pupils from Myanmar, Israel, Serbia and Montenegro • Visa is not required for all ASEAN countries (except Myanmar). If you are unsure, of the requirement, please check with the school.

  24. TRAVELLING ADVICE •   PASSPORT • Pupils will NOT be holding passports unless passing the customs/immigration check-points (Singapore & Malaysia). • Upon clearance at both the check-points, passports will be handed back to teachers in-charge for safekeeping. All passports will be returned to upon arrival in school. • Please ensure that the your child’s passport has a validity of at least 6 months. (i.e. Expiry date on passport must be no earlier than 12 September 2012)
