  2. Pre-trip TIPS • Watch the Weather Channel or check the internet for a weather forecast for the days of the trip-plan to dress accordingly!

  3. Tomorrow’s high is: 10˚The low is: -4 ˚Long range forecast: 0 to -9º(that would be -12 to -23º C) Expect it to be cold, windy and snowy. Dress appropriately for walking outdoors! Dress in layers! Boots are needed. So are snow pants, scarves, hats, mittens, hand warmers. A lot of cold weather gear!

  4. A good item to have along! You can get them for hands too!

  5. Please bring…. • Comfortable layers of clothes, boots & shoes • Deodorant & toothbrush • One medium suitcase and one carry on bag • Phone/ watch & camera • Snacks and water • Cards, books, travel games, PG DVDs

  7. Clothing for touring NO blue jeans NO sweats NO hoodies NO athletic pants NO high heels

  8. For bus ride: • Comfy clothing (jeans, sweats, hoodies, athletic pants) • Neck pillow & blanket

  9. Remember to bring…. • Canadian money for lunches/ souvenirs • US money for 1 lunch & 1 dinner

  11. FRIDAY, JAN. 12TH • Wake up early. • Eat breakfast and pack a snack. • Arrive at OPMS by 5:45 am • Bus in front loop

  12. Friday morning5:45 am-OPMS front loop Check in with your chaperone.Departure time is 6 AM.

  13. BOARDING THE BUS • One suitcase goes underneath. • Backpack goes with you to your seat. • Electronics are OK on the bus-so are snacks. • No pop. Water-oui!!!

  14. Quebec, here we come!

  15. Mid-morning Stop – in US • Short stop on Thruway mid- morning. • You will need American money! • Listen to directions from chaperone before heading for the fast food. • Use the buddy system! Never be alone! • Bathroom break! • Stretch the legs! • Be back on time on the bus! • NEVER BE ALONE! • It could be 6+ hours before we stop for lunch! (Lunch stop--Canadian money needed)

  16. Border Crossing • Serious business • Have documents ready • We may need to get off the bus Perhaps even with our suitcases • Be polite, respectful and quiet • No ipads, phones, etc. on at this point • We’re almost half way!

  17. Lunch stop in Montreal You will have 45 minutes to an hour to find a place to eat and use the facilities. You are to check with your chaperone before going anywhere. No one goes anywhere alone. This will probably be our last stop before arriving at our hotel in about 2 hours.

  18. ARRIVE QUEBEC CITY

  19. Check in at our hotel Hôtel ClarendonVieux Québec and meet our guide.
