  1. The story of the two mountains.

  2. One day before the Spanish came to Mexico there were an Emperor and a Empress they were worried because they did not have a baby. After many months of waiting a new baby called Izztacihtal was born.

  3. When Izta was older she met a boy called popccapetil they went to see Iztas father and when they got there her father sent Popocca off to war to get the enemy head.

  4. A fue days later a letter came to Izta to say that POPOCA WAS DEAD

  5. When Izta found out she would not eat nor go out and she died of sadness.

  6. Soon after Popocca returned with a enemy head, the emperor told Popocca about the message and how Izta was dead.

  7. Popocca took Iztas body and placed it on a flower bed and died of sadness to.

  8. The gods took pity on them and turned them into mountains
