  2. Opening Prayer Loving God, help us deepen our understanding of What it means to be rooted in prayer. Guide our feet to walk in the ways of Jesus. Help our hands create a welcoming and inclusive world. May Your love inspire us and Your light sustain us. We ask this in the name of Your Son, Who is here among us to remind us how to pray in The love of Christ as we gather in His name. Amen.

  3. The Commissioning of the Disciples Matthew 28:16-20 A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew. Glory to you, O Lord. Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.   5. Closing Prayer Loving God, We pray that we might have the strength To live as joyful disciples, In the footsteps of your Son. As a community of faith at (insert school name here), May we continue to accompany one another, In our learning as we grow. We make this prayer through Jesus our friend and brother, Amen.
