WASHINGTON COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS FACILITIES PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT Data Source for Analysis of Pupil Generation Rates • Analysis of 16 residential developments • Use and Occupancy (U&O) permit data supplied by county, city, and municipal planning departments through calendar year 2010 • Student addresses from WCPS student information database (AS400)

FACILITIES PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT Sixteen Analyzed Residential Developments Paradise Heights – 31 units Cortland – 614 units Twin Ridge – 84 units Kensington Villas – 118 units Seneca Ridge – 121 units Freedom Hills – 34 units Collegiate Acres – 126 units Foxwood Apartments – 99 units Hager’s Crossing – 395 units Carriage Hills – 105 units Claggett’s Mill – 24 units Saint James North – 292 units Fletcher’s Grove – 175 units Westfields – 203 units Cannon Ridge – 58 units Rockingham – 83 units Note: Number of units includes single family, townhome, and multi-family dwellings.

Parameters for Analysis of 16 Subdivisions WASHINGTON COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS FACILITIES PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT • Obtain U&O permit data by dwelling type for active subdivisions or developments • Compare student address information with identified U&O permits provided for calendar years cumulative through 2010 • Calculate student yield by development and dwelling type for elementary, middle, and high schools, using student data as of January 2011
