  3. Emergencies If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911 for ambulance transportation to a local hospital emergency room. You will be asked for: • Your name • The exact location of the emergency • The phone number you are calling from • The nature of the illness or injury

Appointments Required 3 easy and convenient ways to schedule an appointment • Web Booking: Simply go to http://healthservices.illinoisstate.edu/, click on schedule appointment • Callingthe Appointment Line at (309) 438 2778.  The Appointment Line is open Monday – Thursday 8-4:30 and Friday 8-4:00 • Stopping by Student Health Services and make an Appointment in person, at our main reception desk, located on the 2nd floor of the Student Services Building

  8. Web Booking Web Booked Appointments Web Booking is available 24/7! Fun Facts: • Nearly 42,000 appointments were scheduled last year.  • Of those, over 20,000 were WEB BOOKED by the students themselves!

  9. When you should call When you should call: Interesting Tidbits: About 1,500 appointments scheduled last year were “No-Shows” • Don’t see what you need on the Web? • Not sure what to do? • Not sure who to talk to?

SHS Laboratory Common Tests Performed at no additional charge: • Group A Strep (rapid and molecular) • Mono • Urine and serum pregnancy • Urinalysis • Urine culture and sensitivity • Direct exam for trichomonas, yeast, bacterial vaginosis, and pinworm • Complete blood count (useful for anemia or infection) • Syphilis screening Virtually any other Laboratory test ordered by a healthcare provider can be done at Student Health Service by collecting the specimen here and sending it to the reference lab. Prices are very competitive for common tests.
