  4. Appointment Notifications Emails can be sent automatically to Practitioners when an appointment is created, changed or deleted. Includes Client Name, Appointment Date/Time & Location See Options > User Administration

  5. Multiple Practitioners per Client Previously you could have one practitioner assigned to a client. In Version 4, the myPractice Administrator or the lead Practitioner assigned to a Client is able to assign other Practitioners (users) giving them permission to view and edit the Client record.

  6. Genogram The genogram feature is available from the Client Details area of myPractice. This feature will allow you to map out your client's family and relationships.

  8. MailChimp Integration MailChimp is a great service for sending out Newsletters or Marketing Campaign's. The service is free for 2000 Clients and up to 12000 emails/mth. Don't send bulk emails via your ISP. Avoid getting labelled as a 'spammer'! myPractice now gives you the ability to sync your Client Contact information with MailChimp to make sending out your bulk correspondence easier. MYOB Exports Accessed via the Reports area of myPractice, you can export Client info, Products and Services, Sales (Invoices and Item Sales) and Payments all in a format compatible for importing directly into MYOB. Things that need setting up in myPractice prior to exporting data to MYOB: • All clients must have ClientID’s before Clients can be imported • Each Product or Service must have • A GST (tax) Code that matches a Tax Code in myPractice • A unique “Accounting Item Code” • A Category assigned – the Category Code being the “Account Code” to which Sales of these items are assigned in MYOB.

  29. Label Printing Avery Labels and other label sheets are supported with this new feature. The Label functions are accessed via the Letter Editor. Labels can be created for both Clients and Referrers.

  35. Expense Tracker Track and record your business expenses within myPractice. Categorise Expenses as Capital or Non-Capital. GST Calculated as items are entered. Planned expansion of this feature over coming months: • Export Expenses to MYOB • Business Activity Statement (B.A.S.) Report

  38. myPractice Scheduler • A separate installation. • On one (1) computer only in the practice. • Sends Daily Task Lists to those that want them. • Sends SMS and Email Reminders to Clients. • Retrieves SMS Replies from Clients. • Requires Vista/Win7/Win8 or Server 2008 (anything except WinXP or Server 2003) To come in 2013 - • scheduled backup process • More T.B.A.

  41. Automated SMS & Email Reminders Previously available to our myPractice Live users, this feature will now extend out to include our Network Edition customers*. *Requires that the "myPractice Scheduler" is installed on 1 computer in the Practice - Ideally this is a computer that is always on.

  43. SMS Replies On top of sending your SMS Reminders automatically, imagine being able to get replies from your Clients, directly into myPractice. Version 4 and the myPractice Scheduler allow this to happen. • No mobile number required. • Replies are retrieved every 5 minutes into myPractice. (configurable) • Works with all SMS messages, both reminders and others. • Requires that the SMS Global Preferences > Incoming SMS Setting "2-way API Return URL" is set to https://sms.mypracticelive.com/ (**note the slash “/” at the end)

  46. Task Management Tasks will allow you to set alerts for yourself or other practitioners to ensure a certain task is performed by a due date. This can be anything - • a phone call • the sending of a document • anything you might need done on or by a certain date. Tasks will also allow you to track the resources given to a client, whether it be certain documentation or equipment. Optional Daily email reports on *your* tasks that are due today or overdue*. *Requires myPractice Scheduler installed
