Impact of FGFR3 Signaling on Apoptosis and MAPK Pathways in BxPC-3 and PANC-1 Cells

This study investigates the roles of FGFR3 isoforms (FGFR3-IIIb and FGFR3-IIIc) and various signaling proteins (P-STAT1, P-STAT3, P-ERK, P-JNK, and P-p38) in the regulation of apoptosis and MAPK pathways in pancreatic cancer cells BxPC-3 and PANC-1. We examine the interplay between pro-apoptotic (BAX) and anti-apoptotic (BCL2) factors, along with the phosphorylation status of retinoblastoma protein (P-RB) and CREB in response to FGFR3 signaling. Supplemental figures further elucidate these findings.
