  11. Thus Ezekiel 37 gives the same sequence:(1) a Regathering of the scattered dead bones of Israel (in unbelief).(2) a spiritual Regeneration, that takes place later (after the Abomination).

Ezekiel 38:8,12: “In the latter years, you (the invading armies) will come into the Land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many peoples on the mountains of ISRAEL, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely (securely).... against apeople gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the Land “

  13. Ezekiel 38 describes an invasion from the North upon a re-gathered Israel

  14. WHO are the INVADERS? Ezekiel 38:1-6: “Now the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man, set your face against GOG, of the Land of MAGOG, the Prince of ROSH, MESHECH, and TUBAL, and prophesy against him, and say, “Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the Prince of ROSH, MESHECH, and TUBAL.

I will turn you around, put hooks intoyour jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. PERSIA, CUSH, and LIBYA are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; GOMER and all its troops; the house of TOGARMAH from the FAR NORTH and all its troops: MANY (other) PEOPLES (NATIONS) are WITH YOU.”

Remember – the Psalms 83 War will be the catalyst that draws Russia down into the battle…Syria is also threatening Israel and supporting the terrorists who are waging Jihad on them.Amos 1:3-5 States that Syria will come against Israel four times, and then will be made desolate. These occurred in: 1948 (1st) 1967(2nd) 1973(3rd) and the 4th appears that it could happen at any time!Damascus is the capital of Syria. It is the oldest perpetual city in the world! It is over 5000 years old!

Is. 17:1 States that Damascus will be taken away from being a city and become a ruinous heap - this has not happened yet, but will very soon!!Isa 17:3 "The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim, And sovereignty from Damascus And the remnant of Aram; They will be like the glory of the sons of Israel," Declares the LORD of hosts.

  18. In 1973, Israel came with 20 kilometers of Damascus - Russia stepped in and informed the world that if they continue, it willbe world war three. If Israel had destroyed Damascus then, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled!Additionally, Russia is backing Damascus - when Damascus attacks Israel again, it will be destroyed, and it will cause theprophecies in Ez. 38 and 39 to be fulfilled - Russia, the bear of the north along with Muslim nations will be forced to attack Israel, but God will intervene!

Zechariah 12:1-3: “Thus says the Lord who stretches out the heavens lays the foundation of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him: Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.”

  23. Genesis 10:2-5: “The sons of JAPHETH were GOMER, MAGOG, Madai, Javan, TUBAL, MESCHECH, and TIRAS (RAS). The sons of GOMER were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and TOGMARAH. The sons of Javan were Elishah, TARSHISH, Kittim, and Dodanim. From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations.”

  24. GOGcomes from “the Land of MAGOG”, and is “the princeof ROSH, MESHECH, and TUBAL” (Ezekiel 38:2,3).

  25. MAGOG. The first century Roman historian Josephus said the "Magogites" were the peoples whom the Greeks called "Scythians", a fierce civilisation that settled north of the Baltic Sea in what is now Russia and the now mostly Islamic republics of the former USSR, possibly also including TURKEY.

  26. The Greek Romantic Account of Alexander the Great’s ExploitsAccording to the Romance, Alexander came to a northern land devastated by incursions from barbarian peoples, including Gog and Magog. Alexander defends the land by constructing the Gates of Alexander, an immense wall between two mountains that will stop the invaders until the end times. In the Romance, these gates are built between two mountains in the Caucasus called the "Breasts of the World"; this has been taken as a reference to the historical "Caspian Gates" in Derbent, Russia. Another frequently suggested candidate is the wall at the Darial Gorge in Georgia, also in the Caucasus.

  27. ROSH. Because ROSH means CHIEF in Hebrew, some translations call him: ‘the Chief Prince’ (v2,3), rather than ‘the Prince of Rosh.’ However the ‘Rus’ were well known people, and Gesenius says that these are undoubtedly the Russian people, so it is better and more natural to translate it: ‘the Prince of Rosh.’

  28. Other members of this coalition are GOMER (the ancient Cimmerians in present day TURKEY) and TOGARMAH (ancient ARMENIA which is mostly in Turkey today) - v6. So TURKEY will definitely be a major part of this Coalition led by RUSSIA!

  29. “From the FAR NORTH” (Ezekiel 38:6). “You will come from your place out of the FAR NORTH’ (38:15). “I will turn you around and lead you on, bringing you up from the FAR NORTH, and bring you against the mountains of Israel” (Ezekiel 39:2).

  30. Therefore, the far north (“the uttermost parts of the north”) can only be Russia. Moscow is exactly due north of Jerusalem.So Russia will lead a confederacy of nations against Israel.

  31. Ezekiel 38:5,6 describe other nations along with Russia:“PERSIA, CUSH, and LIBYA are with them... GOMER and all its troops; the house of TOGARMAH....MANY PEOPLES are WITH YOU.”

  32. (1) Significantly the first (main) nation mentioned with RUSSIA is PERSIA = IRAN. (2) CUSH was the area south of Egypt, now called SUDAN, also a fundamentalist Islamic State, very hostile to Israel.

  33. (3) PUT = LIBYA, another Islamic State that is very anti-Israel.(4) As we have already noted, GOMER and TOGARMAH represent modern day TURKEY, which is large Muslim nation.

  34. *It is this turn of events in TURKEY, along with the imminent crisis of IRAN being close to obtaining nuclear weapons, that compels me to give this warning that Ezekiel 38 could be fulfilled soon!

  35. Notice the Psalms 83 Countries are not part of this… King of the East

Eze 39:1 "And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal; Eze 39:2 and I will turn you around, drive you on, take you up from the remotest parts of the north and bring you against the mountains of Israel. Eze 39:3 "I will strike your bow from your left hand and dash down your arrows from your right hand.

  37. Ezekiel 39:3 today,“I will smite your launchers out of your left hand, and cause your missiles to fall out of your right hand.”

  38. Eze 39:4 "You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you as food to every kind of predatory bird and beast of the field. Eze 39:5 "You will fall on the open field; for it is I who have spoken," declares the Lord GOD. Eze 39:6 "And I will send fire upon Magog and those who inhabit the coastlands in safety; and they will know that I am the LORD.

  39. Major mountains in Israel – Two major fronts to this war…

  40. Today, all the nations are alligning exactly as the Bible said they would!Possible scenario…. A man arises and confirms a peace with Israel Ps.83 War Damascus Destroyed Russia , Iran, Turkey attack Israel They are destroyed Is. 17:1 Ez. 38:15 Ez.39 Daniel 9:27 (prior to the 70th week of Daniel – Why?....)

  41. *After the Invasion, 7 YEARS are needed for Israel to dismantle and destroy the enemy weapons:

  42. Ezekiel 39:9,10: “Then those who dwell in the Cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for 7 YEARS. They will not take wood from the field nor cut down any from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; and they will plunder those who plundered them, and pillage those who pillaged them.”

  43. *7 Months are taken by the whole population to bury the dead:Ezekiel 39:11-13: “It will come to pass in that day, that I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the Valley of those who pass by east of the Sea; and it will obstruct travellers, because there they will bury Gog and all his multitude. Therefore they will call it the Valley of Hamon Gog (‘the Multitude of Gog’).

  44. What is special about the burials? Men will be regularly employed to cleanse the land. Some will go throughout the land and, in addition to them, others will bury those that remain on the ground… As they go through the land and one of them sees a human bone, he will set up a marker beside it until the gravediggers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon Gog. (Ezekiel 39:14-15, NIV) Special workers are needed… it could be some nuclear or atomic weapons were used…

  45. For 7 MONTHS the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the Land. Indeed all the people of the Land will be burying, and they will gain renown for it on the day that Iam glorified,” says the Lord GOD.”

  46. Ezekiel 39:14-16: “They will set apart men regularly employed, with the help of a search party, to pass through theLand and bury those bodies remaining on the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of 7 MONTHS they will make a search.The search party will pass through the land; and when anyone sees a man’s bone, he shall set up a marker by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon Gog. The name of the City will also be Hamonah. Thus they shall cleanse the Land.”
