  5. Largest percent of Hispanicstoday trace origin to Mexico • In New Mexico, 43 out of 100 people are Hispanic. .

  6. In the early 1800’s, English speaking Europeans started to move into New Mexico and began to like the culture. At the time, the English speaking Europeans moved in, New Mexico had been a Spanish speaking culture for over 200 years.
