Credits • Freshman Year you MUST earn SIX (6) credits to be classified as a sophomore. • You MUST earn TWELVE (12) credits to be a junior. • You MUST earn EIGHTEEN(18) credits to be a senior. • You MUST earn TWENTY-FOUR (24) credits for Foundation! • You MUST earn TWENTY-SIX (26) credits to GRADUATE with Endorsement!

  6. What You TAKE MATTERS • “J” courses (courses taken at junior high) that you may have taken at AC Blunt or any other junior high count toward your high school graduation – ex. algebra, health, Spanish I, etc. • By the time you are a senior what you have taken in the previous three years will DETERMINE your placement in ranking. You should begin thinking about it NOW!! Look at your graduation plan carefully.

(See Mrs. Chronister ) • Proof of Meningitis submit vaccination record (good for 5yrs) • Transcript request a transcript from counselors • DC Registration Form meet with your HS counselor

  10. Del Mar College : GO LOCAL $900-$1300 University Student *Not Including: -Books -Housing -Meal Plan Dual Credit Tuition $385 Traditional Del Mar College Student *In-District Cost $99.99 Per 3 Credit Hr. DMC DC Student *Students also purchase books, access codes, uniforms & supplies.

  11. Attendance is Important You will NOT receive credit for a course if you were not present 90% of the time. (even if you passed the course)

  12. EOC and Graduation… REMEMBER… The number of EOCs a student must PASS to Graduate *ELA 1 – *ALGEBRA 1 - *BIOLOGY - *ELA 2 – *US HISTORY

How to Register • Log on to www.apisd.org • Chose PARENTS then PARENT PORTAL • Your student’s ID # is the User Name and the Password (you may be prompted to change password) • Click on ‘Student Update’ ‘Course Request’ • All students have been enrolled in: ENGLISH 1, SPEECH, KEYBOARDING, ALGEBRA 1, IPC AND WORLD GEOGRAPHY. PRE-AP COURSES, BIOLOGY AND GEOMETRY WILL BE ADDED PER TEACHER RECOMEMDATION. • Choose 3 Electives( you must click the plus sign on right to add more choices)
