What Is Drinking/Abuse? • Drinking is the act of being addicted to or indulging excessively in alcohol • Drinking is also of or pertaining to the act of drinking, especially the drinking of alcohol • Drinking Abuse is the excessive use of alcohol and alcoholic drinks • Abuse can also effect the family/co. workers by causing stress and hardships

  3. Drinking Age In The USA: Why 21? Pros Cons Some people never mature or become responsible for anything. Chances are, if there’s a law against it, more young people will want to try it. People can be drafted into the army, but they can’t have a drink to calm their nerves. • The older you get, the more mature and responsible you may become. • The laws make it more safe to drive with young adults on the road. • Abuse will be less frequent with teens and young adults.

  4. Drinking In The UK: Is it O.K.? Pros Cons More children are drinking. Drinking kills brain cells. Longtime drinking can severely damage the liver • There is no age law on drinking. • Takes the edge off of a long day at school or work. • It is healthy to drink one glass of red wine everyday.
