  2. Grace • Favor or kindness shown without regard to the worth or merit of the one who receives it and in spite of what that person deserves • God’s unmerited favor

  3. Old Testament • Ex 34:6 (Grace comes with mercy and love) • Deut 7:7-8 (nothing you did) • Amos 5:14-15 (you have to do something to keep it: repentance and faith) • Mal 1:9 (pray to God for it)

  4. New Testament • Luke 2:40 (started with Jesus) • John 1:14-17 (Jesus is grace) • Titus 2:11 (bringeth Salvation) • Acts 15:11 (by grace we shall be saved) • Rom 4:16 (must be mixed with faith) • Gal 2:16 (not justified by works but by faith in Jesus Christ)

  5. Ephesians 2:8 • For by GRACE ARE YE saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: • That’s LOVE!
