The project aims to create a safe and engaging playground in Oak Ridge, adhering to OSHA standards. Key requirements include visible supervision for parents, a first-aid kit on-site, age restrictions for children over five, and specific placements for swings and slides to minimize congestion. The design excludes grass and wooden materials and emphasizes safety and accessibility within a 100x100 feet area. Our process involves defining the problem, brainstorming unique play structures, and developing a model to ensure compliance and safety for future playground users.
