  4. The Simple Past We use the simple past to talk about completed actions in the past: Affirmative: I / you / we / he / she / they... …visited a museum yesterday. 2. Negative I / you / we / he / she / they... …didn’t go to a concert 2 days ago.

  5. The Simple Past Regular verbs in the past end in -ed: Work worked Play played arrive arrived Irregular verbs do not end in –ed take took go went make made
