  3. When did the Grand Canyon become a National park? The Grand canyon became a official national park in 1919. That was three years after the National parks creation of the National Park Service. It became a National Park because it wanted to protect and preserve the beautiful canyon.

  4. Cool Facts Many forest Fires take place on the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon is 277 miles long and 1 mile deep in some areas. It covers an area of 1900 square miles The Grand Canyon has a sky walk. The Grand Canyon took three to six years to form. It was formed by the Colorado river.

  5. How did they use Technology The Grand Canyon uses a lot of technology. They have video cameras and other filming devices that are hidden. They have built a sky walk so that you walk on it you could see below you. There are many other ways technology is used on the Grand Canyon.
