  2. Geography Coordinates: 51° North, 9° South Total Area: 357,021 km² Land Area: 349,223 km² Water Area: 7,798 km² Coastline: 2,389 km Climate: Temperate and marine; cool, cloudy wet winters and summers

  3. Economy Germany has an economy that is a largely export based. Some of these exports include oil, natural gas, coal, and electronics. Agricultural products include; wheat, potatoes, barley, sugar beets, fruit, cabbages; cattle, pigs, poultry.

  4. Government Form of government: Federal Republic Capital: Berlin Flag: 3 Equal, horizontal lines of black, red and gold

  5. Culture Religion: Protestant 34%, Roman Catholic 34%, Muslim 3.7%, Other 28.3% Language: German, English

  6. Tourism Currently the 7th most visited country in the world. All visitors need visas. Camping and tours of cities such as, Munich, are popular attractions.

  7. Things to See East Berlin: City of Alexanderplatz, pedestrian square. Attractions there include the Television Tower (Fernsehturm) and the Brandenburg Gate. Baltic Coast: Beach resorts Erzgebirge Ore Mountains and Thurgia Forest
