  2. Budget Committee • Determines where and how the Student Association spends its money • Helps implement the criteria for clubs and organizations • Reviews all initial budget requests • Sits on the Senate and votes on all budgets

  3. Timeline: • Student groups submit budgets by due date • Budget committee reviews budget and criteria • Final Committee Meeting • Budgets are submitted to the Campus Center Director • Budget approval by the Student Senate • Budget submitted to the Vice President • All budgets are reviewed by the President • Final approval by the Board of Trustees

  4. Mandatory Criteria • Submission of materials • Submission of signature and authorization forms • Participation in Club Activity Fairs • Implementation of activities and programs • Implement or participate in a community service

  5. Optional Criteria • Have representation at the Leadership Retreat • Spring/Summer Orientations • Representation at the Senate Meetings • Enroll in the LDS 101 or LDS 280 course See handout

  6. Budget Preparation General Explanation Sheet • Name of Organization • Number of activity members • Advisor’s signature • Officers signature • Director • Total requested budget
