The Pro-Choice Perspective on Abortion Rights in America

Our party advocates for the right of all American women to choose abortion. We adopt a Pro-Choice stance, emphasizing that the decision to have a child rests solely with the woman. Within the first trimester, the developing fetus is not deemed a living person, alleviating concerns of moral conflict. We support abortion access for all, particularly for rape victims, to prevent emotional trauma. Our belief is that personhood commences at birth, and legal access to safe abortions mitigates the risks associated with unsafe procedures. Financial constraints further necessitate this right for many women.

  1. Abortion Overview: Our party believes that all women in America have the right to have an abortion. We are Pro-Choice towards abortion because it is the decision of the women whether or not she wants to have a child. As long as she is in her first Trimester, the developing fetus is not considered a living person. This eliminates the conflict of killing an innocent human being. All rape victims should be able to have an abortion so they don’t have to deal with the emotional and life-long struggles of having a child they may not want. -Personhood begins at birth, not at conception. -Access to legal, professionally-performed abortions reduces injury and death caused by unsafe, illegal abortions. -Modern abortion procedures are safe. -Many women who choose abortion don't have the financial resources to support a child.
