  3.  New Year`s Day On New Year`s Eve (31 Deсember) many people go to the parties with their families and friends. They go to bed after midnight to "see the New Year in" at 12 o`clock. When Big Ban strikes, people all hug and kiss each other and shout "Happy New Year".

  5. St.Valentine`s Day On St Valentine`s Day people send a special valentine to those who they love. Some people buy presents for their sweethearts or give them a red rose, a symbol of love.

  7. Easter Festival On Easter Sunday many people go to church. Children get presents of chocolate Easter eggs. Easter always means spring, flowers, green trees and young animals, especially lambs and chicks.

Children often write letters to Father Christmas with their wishes. On Christmas Day everyone opens presents and sits down to the table to have turkey or goose with vegetables. After dinner the family gathers in the living room to listen to the Queen on TV.
