Community Engagement in Evidence-Based Cancer Control • CTSA: Development of course on CBPR (Emory, MSM) --- great future opportunities with CTSA • All CPCRNs but one are at a CTSA institution – UCLA applying • All work with their community engagement cores • CTSAs translate research bench > bedside > curbside/countryside

Cross Center Collaboration in Community Engagement • R21 – Sustainable strategies for increasing CIS use in Hispanics and African-Americans (WU & UT) • Train-the-Trainer Evidence-Based Public Health Training (WU & UNC) • Obesity & Cancer (Card Sort to identify EB competencies) (WU, UCLA, UT) • Upcoming: National Assoc Chronic Disease Directors (Emory, TX, UCLA, UW, & WU) • One-day workshoptitled “Designing Chronic Disease Prevention Programs that Work”
