The Greek educational system comprises 9 years of compulsory education, including 6 years of primary school and 3 years of high school. After completing high school, most students opt to attend a lyceum, which offers general and technical education, and also includes special schools for students with educational needs. Successful completion leads to the Pan-Hellenic Exams for university admission. Universities in Greece are tuition-free, and vocational training institutes provide skill-specific education. Despite challenges, the system is known for delivering extensive knowledge and producing highly qualified professionals.

General note Although the Greek Educational System is justifiably considered quite tough for the students, it offers extensive knowledge. This is strengthened by the fact that Greek scientists are highly qualified and that is why they are sought after all over the world!
