  2. Memphis SkiFreeze What a great way to start the New Year off, doing ministry at the Memphis SkiFreeze. All this to give little Maddox his dream. He is now 8 years old and diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE). He’s also diagnosed with Ehlers-Danios Syndrome, a connective tissue disease that causes his joints to dislocate frequently and has 11 broken bones due to this condition. Our Memphis chapters were able to raise money for Maddox to go on dream vacation by providing coffee and hot chocolate to the skiers.

  4. State Director’s Meeting Those in leadership positions in our Tennessee chapters kick off our year with a planning meeting in Spring Hill. This is a good time for us re-examine our previous year and plan for the next year. We always have good attendance with most of our chapters being represented. Spring Hill First Baptist Church, our host, provides our lunch and all the accommodations we need. The passion for FAITH Riders and creativity always makes for a fun time and productive meeting.

  5. Our Maury County chapters hosted a Trike Rider Safety Course in March. This was a chance to focus on the unique aspects of riding a trike. They were challenged and even had to get their trikes on two wheels while maintaining and controlling it. Everyone who attended thought the information and experience gained was very valuable. 6. In an effort to make the Buddy Ride easier for more chapters to participate, we decided to focus more on the gathering and less on the ride. It was our hope that chapters would join together and ride over for lunch and a time of fellowship. Our destination was an easy choice. Macedonia Baptist Church has been a strong supporter of Light in the Smokies over the years. Even though they do not have any riders, they always bring a large number of volunteers to help serve at the rest stops. We had been trying to come up with an appropriate way to recognize this church and show our appreciation for them. They were very eager to help us out in any way possible. Buddy Ride

  8. FAITH Riders members were joined by several members of the church that Bro. Frank had trained in giving their testimonies. A tent was set up away from the pumps and two people greeted customers at the pumps. One of the church members is a Gideon - he brought bright orange New Testaments and we had FR New Testaments to give away, along with information about the church. We prayed with all those we talked with - many had special requests and needs, one being a 13 year old girl who had a three week old baby. Mt. Pleasant Gas Giveaway

  9. In July our French Broad Chapter in Dandridge held a prayer rumble. They met at a Harley Davison dealership and rode to 9 different area churches in Sevierville and Dandridge. They stopped at each church  and prayed for the church Pastor, staff and congregation. Then left a notice on the church door of our visit. Daniel received a call from one Pastor  who is very interested in joining  up with us. We also met one lady at one of the churches who was cleaning that day. Had a great visit with her. 11. Our mission trip to Townsend in the Smokey Mountains continues to be one of favorite events. We work with CHilhowee ARea Ministries to run Biker Rest Stops to hand out water, bless bikes, share Jesus and pray with bikers. We basically just want to be His Light in the Smokies. 14. While most of our FAITH Riders were in East Tennessee participating in Light in the Smokies, our West Tenn Chapters were sharing Jesus at the Bartlett Festival. They gave away a Cabelos Cooler and shared the gospel with 164. Bartlett Festival

  15. The last major event for our year is our annual Rumble with the Kids at the Middle Tennessee Baptist Children's Home in Brentwood. This is a fun day to just spend time with the kids and ride them around campus on our bikes. Most of our chapters use this as a fundraiser to help out Children's Homes all over the state. Smiles to go around! Rumble with the Kids

  16. Come see us in the Mountains! September 11 – 15th
