Eating Habits • Kinds of food- gazelle, impala, deer, wildebeest • How they get their food- they hunt for food and eat it in a tree to protect it from predators • Carnivore
Behavior and Other Facts • # of babies- 1-6, average 2-3 • How cared for- stay with moms 18-24 months • Protection- leopards are listed endangered in Asia and parts of Africa • Unusual behaviors- they can leap more than 20 ft. • Other- they are nocturnal, on occasions they hunt monkeys, rodents and birds • Life span- up to 20 years • Predators- tigers, cheetahs, humans
