  3. 1. Nach des Tages Last suchen wir Ruhe in dir. Du Herr Jesus, hast den wahren Frieden bei dir. Du warst mit uns diesen Tag, hast uns gesegnet ohne Ende. Alle Arbeit, Freud und Klag legen wir jetzt in deine Hände.

  4. 2. Du sahst unser Tun, o Herr, du hast es erfüllt, lässt uns in dir ruh‘n, von deinem Segen umhüllt. Herr, wir geben dir zurück den ganzen Tag mit seinen Mühen. Du allein bist unser Glück, willst uns durch alles zu dir ziehen.

  5. 3. Nach des Tages Last finden wir Ruhe in dir. Du, Herr, schenkst uns Rast und tiefen Frieden mit dir. Du allein bist unser Ziel, darum erheben wir die Hände: Deine Gnade, deine Treu lass uns anbeten ohne Ende!
