  4. DVD ( Digital video disc) -Succesor al CD-ului -Capacitate de stocare:4,71GB/4,39GB -Folosite de catre distribuitori de filme pentru a inlocui casetele VHS ca mijloc de distributie catre consumatori. -Pret: 4,75 lei

SSD( solid state drive) • -Este un dispozitiv de stocare a datelor care folosește memorii cu semiconductori, construite pe baza studiilor de fizica stării solide. • -SSD-urile se deosebesc de discurile dure clasice (HDD), care sunt dispozitive electromecanice cu discuri de stocare aflate în mișcare, prin aceea că SSD-urile folosesc numai microcipuri care rețin datele în memorii nevolatile fără părți mobile.

  9. MEMORII FLASH • Memoria flash (uneori numită și “Flash RAM”) este un tip de memorie nevolatilă cu alimentare constantă ale cărei blocuri de memorie pot fi șterse și programate. Este o variantă a memoriei EEPROM (“electrically erasable programmable read-only memory”), care, spre deosebire de memoria flash, este ștearsă și programată la nivel de bit, ceea ce o face mai lentă.
