Bufflehead Ultrasonic Object Locator: Empowering Visually Impaired Individuals

Team Bufflehead from University of Portland School of Engineering developed an ultrasonic device to help visually impaired individuals detect objects. Accomplishments include completing specs and selecting components. Challenges involve finding compatible parts and optimizing component interface. Future goals include perfecting the functional spec and timely part acquisition.
