  1. Plastic Abrasive Plastic Blast Media Manufacturer Plastic blast media makes an excellent choice for many industrial applications. Plastic blast media manufacturer is characterized as a less aggressive media than most other abrasives making it ideally suited for blasting on softer substrates and commonly used for the deflashing of plastic components, mold cleaning, the removal, and cleaning of anti- corrosion coatings, hydrocarbon deposits, waxes, adhesives, and sealants. High durability, Free of Silica, no residual deposits results in a highly effective cost-effective media choice. Plastic Blast Media manufacturer is supplied in two basic types. Synthetic/urea media and polyester media are the two basic media resins used in our media. Both types are offered in several formulations that offer different cutting, polishing, pre-plate finishing, and deburring characteristics. Different sizes and shapes are available.

  2. Plastic blast media (PBM) may be a method for the rapid, economic, and safe removal of coatings from almost any product. Although resembling sandblasting, Plastic blast media manufacturer doesn't use hard abrasives like silica sand. First, the method uses recyclable plastic particles that are pneumatically applied at a low of 20-40 psi. The plastic particles vary in hardness from 3.0-4.0 Mohs compared with hard abrasives that are within the 7-Mohs range. Because the plastic granules are harder than coatings but softer than underlying substrates, Plastic blast media manufacturer can quickly remove primers and topcoats without harming sensitive substrates, like aluminum, brass, copper, magnesium, thin steel, and titanium. Additionally, the purpose is often utilized on surfaces where chemical stripping can't be used or must be applied with caution, like panels of honeycomb construction, engineered plastic, fiberglass, and advanced composites. Plastic blast media technology has been in use for over six years, principally for the stripping of aircraft and aerospace components; however, with the rise in environmental awareness and stricter environmental regulations, the method has matured into a definite technology, applicable to the depainting requirements of a broad range of industries. Size 0.85-0.45mm Color White Mesh Size 18-36 Plastic Blast Media we offer: Type I (polyester) is the softest plastic blast media and is rarely used today for paint removal. It is too slow. A frustrated operator has a tendency to dwell causing heat and damage to the substrate. Type VI ("clear cut") is significantly more aggressive on coatings than Type I but is very safe on most substrates particularly composites. It has good removal rates when used on composites. Type V (acrylic) has proved most popular on aluminum aircraft skins. It is less aggressive and has lower removal rates than Type II. It will not remove many primers. • • •

  3. Type II (urea) is the most heavily used of the PBM accounting for over 60% of today's media usage. It is used on a wide variety of soft metals, some composites, and steel. Type III (melamine) is the hardest and most aggressive plastic blast media. • • Plastic Blast Media manufacturer Characteristics Sustainable. Silica Free. High Effective Cost. No Leftover.
