What are students doing? How are they doing it? Modes of Math Class: How do you know if you are successful in class today?
Group Work x Introduction: I will learn about the concept of dilation and will investigate the characteristics that figures share if they have the same shape.
Individual x Discovery: I will learn that multiplying lengths of figures by a scale factor produces a similar figure.
Partner x Practice: I will examine the ratio of the perimeters of similar figures.
Group Work x Application: I will apply proportional reasoning and learn how to write similarity statements.
