Your Android mobile can be connected an HP printer using the USB On-The-Go (OTG) cable which is not supported by Apples or Windows 10 mobile. Connecting HP printer to Android mobile using a USB OTG cable 1. Check if the printer’s hardware setup is complete. 2. Turn the 123.hp.com printer on. 3.Connect a USB cable to the printer 4. Install the HP Print and Service Plugin on your Android device. 5. Plug the OTG cable to your Android mobile. 6. Tap OK to activate the HP Print and Service Plug-in. 7. Open the document you want to print. Preview the document, make necessary changes. 8. Select ‘USB: Printer name’ from the list of printers. Tap the Print icon after making all the necessary changes. Detailed instructions for setting up a connection between the printer and your Android mobile 1) Check if the printer’s hardware set up is completed. Make sure your HP Printer supports printing from a USB OTG cable connection. 2) Your Android mobile should run on OS 4.0 (KitKat) or later supporting USB OTG. Download the HP Printer Service Plugin from the Play Store. 3) Follow the prompts to install it. Obtain a USB OTG cable including a USB port and a micro-USB connector. 4) Turn on the printer, if it not already on. Wait for the printer to complete the initialization. Connect an end of the USB cable to the USB port on the printer’s rear and the other end into the OTG cable’s USB port. 5) Plug-in the micro-USB connector of the OTG cable into the micro-USB port on your Android device. Your mobile will now display the HP Print Service Plugin window. 6) Tap OK on the window to activate HP Print Service Plugin. You can now start

The print preview screen for your item will be displayed on your mobile. 8) Tap the down arrow On the preview screen, to view the printer list, then select USB: HP [your printer model name] from the list of available printers. 9) Touch the down arrow again. Change any print settings for the document or photo and tap the Print icon. If you want to print email or webpage open the item that you would like to print and tap the Share icon. 10) Tap Print to open a print preview screen. Tap the down arrow on the screen. Select the printer’s name from the list of printers.
