  1. HP Printer Setup without cd Set up the printer after purchasing the printer. It is available in a packaged box. The packing materials surrounding the printer is to avoid damage to the device during transportation. Check the contents of the box based on the label of the printer box. Easy steps to follow for the printer setup Open the printer’s shipment box to take the device out of it. Remove all packing materials surrounding the printer. Use the power cable of the printer to establish the connection. Force press the Power button to turn on the printer. Insert papers into the input tray and adjust the paper width guides. Wait for the carriage to move to the replacement position. Insert new ink cartridges into their slots until they snap into place. After installation, the printer prints an alignment page. Take the setup poster, user guide, reference materials out of the box and keep them aside. If the printer supports the Instant ink feature, a poster will be available in the box regarding the subscription. Take the power cord and the USB cable out of the box. Keep them aside to connect it later. Take the Black and Tri-color cartridges out of the box. They are designed to initialize the printer and used during the setup process. Tilt the box and take the printer out of it. Discard all packing materials around the printer. Open the output tray and ink cartridge access latch. Remove all the packing materials located inside the access area. Use the power cord to establish the connection. Before connecting, check for any damage on it. Connect the printer's rear and the wall socket with the appropriate ends of the power cable. Power up the printer and turn it on using the Power button. Pull the tab to tear the plastic tape from the cartridge. Do not touch the copper contacts or ink nozzles as it may lead to the ink system failure.
