  2. Hey Hayley,guess what? Gran and Grandpa have invited us to visit them for the holidays. Lets go pack. Why don't we ask Mum and Dad if we can catch the train so we can save energy, like we've been learning at school.

  3. It will be wonderful having the children here for the holidays William. We’ll be able to show them all the new electrical gadgets we’ve bought since their last visit. . Yes Ethel, it's always great to have the youngies around.

  4. Good morning Hayley, would you like some breakfast? Gran, you have left all your appliances on! You will seriously burn yourself and you are wasting power.

  5. Grandpa your tools are all switched on and using a lot of power.... Morning Jake, I’m building a new shelf. ...when are you going to switch over to your solar power? It's free from the sun you know. Grandpa your tools are all switched on and using a lot of power . . . .

  6. Gran, why do you have an electric blanket on your bed? If you just put another blanket on top, it would keep you just as warm and it wouldn't use any power.

  7. Gran, clothes dryers use a lot of power, why not hang them on the clothes line, the sun will dry them in no time? Gran, are we going to the zoo today? Soon Hayley, I just need to put some washing in the clothes dryer.

  8. Jake,come on, jump in the car and we'll go and get the paper. Grandpa, I don't mind riding my bike, it will save your petrol for more important trips.

  9. Grandpa and Gran, we are learning lots of great tips at school about how we can save power which is non-renewable energy. Using the sun and wind is what’s called renewable energy. It saves money too… that leaves you more to spend on us! Thanks for having us for the holidays.
