What is the Result of Taking Protein Powder Protein powders are used as supplements by people for different purposes like gaining muscle, muscle repair, post-workout drink, lean muscle growth, etc. There are different kinds of protein powders like plant-based ones, whey protein supplements, etc. Whey protein is one of the most popular type that is being used. Whey protein is obtained from milk and is said to contain 9 essential amino acids. Whey protein and casein are the two proteins found in milk. Whey Concentrate (It consists of 70-80% protein and is cheaper compared to the other types.), Whey Isolate (It is formed when whey concentrate undergoes further processing. It has 90% protein. It is costlier than concentrate.) Whey Hydrolysate (This is the costliest type since it is highly processed and in pre-digested form. It is easy for the body to absorb.)

Taking in too many additives (depending on the product Proteins are very crucial for the body as each cell contains protein. Proteins are required for healthy skin and hair. You can get protein from a variety of sources.
