6. During the Nineteen Twenties, conveyor belts were common, and also underwent tremendous changes. Since then, synthetic conveyor belts have become widespread in numerous fields.

8. With the increasing demand in the market, many artificial polymers and materials began to be utilized in the manufacture of conveyor belts.

9. Today, cotton, canvas, EPDM, leather, neoprene, nylon, polyester, polyurethane, urethane, PVC, rubber, silicone and steel are unremarkably used in conveyor belts. Nowadays, the material used for creating a conveyer belt is set by its application.
