Every student needs to get out a blank sheet of paper, head the paper, and title the front of the page “Dear Aunt Martha”. The back of the page will be titled later. Have one student read each month’s article to the rest of the group as they follow along. You may take notes on your “Dear Aunt Martha” page, but you do not have to. Done reading? Have each group member complete an illustration for one of the months: • October 1765 • November 1965 • December 1965 For each month, make an illustration that would help the reader understand what was happening in the American colonies.
