Your answers are in the Preamble and Natural Rights sections.

  3. Please bundle up the Declaration of Independence and re-paper-clip it.Send someone to the front to give it to me. NEXT ACTIVITY TIME -- If you didn’t finish, get it copied and completed for homework.

  4. I’ll give you new groups again. Please move to those trios. Send a student up to get 3 reading pages and a box of crayons. Every student needs to get out a blank sheet of paper, head the paper, and title the front of the page “Dear Aunt Martha”. The back of the page will be titled later. Have one student read each month’s article to the rest of the group as they follow along. You may take notes on your “Dear Aunt Martha” page, but you do not have to. Done reading? Send the last person who read to get the next activity. 三 London Magazine

  5. Done reading? Send the last person who read to get the next activity. Protest! instructions Put all group members’ names on the page you just picked up. Discuss the effectiveness of each of the protests listed. As a group, decide if the protest was effective or not effective. For each protest, a different group member must write why the group came to that decision. If you finish quickly, please complete the SPREAD THE NEWS activity on the same page. Each group member must write their own letter starting with “I think this is…” All I want from you is three complete sentences about it. Tell me your real feelings about the events in the October 1765 article. 四 Protest!

  6. The London Magazine articles did not include any pictures. But what if they did? Have each group member complete an illustration for one of the months: • October 1765 • November 1965 • December 1965 For each month, make an illustration that would help the reader understand what was happening in the American colonies. Include as many details from the reading as possible. 五 Illustrating the Magazine If everyone in your group finishes, come see me for a paper clip to bind your group’s work together.
