The Technical University of Sofia: Leading Education and Research in Bulgaria Since 1945

Founded on October 24, 1945, the Technical University of Sofia has become the largest technical higher education and research institution in Bulgaria, serving over 14,000 students in various degree programs. With more than 2,000 personnel, it offers comprehensive education through 10 main faculties and 3 divisions for foreign programs in multiple languages. Led by Professor Slavka Tzanova, an expert in Microelectronics and Educational Technology, the university also actively engages in eLearning and innovative educational research projects like Eurosport to enhance learning experiences.

Tasks of TUS in Eurosport project • project co-ordination and management, • monitoring progress and preparing the intermediate and final project reports, • adaptation and development of e-learning materials, • performance of the functionality and usability tests, • organization of the pilot test, • dissemination of project results.
