Introduction • In 1935 Adolf Hitler destroyed all political parties and ruled Germany. • Benito Mussolini of Italy had dreams of conquering other countries. • The Soviet Union’s Joseph Stalin was another power hungry, violent ruler who made death and destruction his life.
Chapter 1 Adolf Hitler (6-7) • Adolf Hitler was born April 20, 1889. • Hitler wanted to first be a painter. • He read books to develop DEEP hatred for Jewish people.
Chapter 1 (8-9) • Germany had to pay $ 30 billion. • He setup a private army called the Storm Troops. • He promised to make Germany rich and happy.
Ch.1 (10-11) • He argued that Jews were to blame for most of Germany’s troubles. • He wrote a autobiography called Mein Kampf or My Struggle. • When Hitler got out of prison he immediately set out to build his power.

Ch.2 Benito Mussolini (14-15) • He was a Italian dictator during world war 2. • Born July 29, 1883 near Predappio, Italy. • His mother was a teacher and his dad was a blacksmith and a loyal supporter of socialism.
