  1. AVID Site Team MeetingOctober 29, 2012 Objectives: Review new AVID related school-wide policies and give feedback to WICOR PD presentations. Agenda 1)Introductions/Whip around 2)Recap: AVID Data so far-ISS, Grade, CST, PSC Review 3)PSC Review WICOR rollout Brainstorm 4) PD Workshops presentations and feedback 5) Looking Forward: November Site Team Meeting Focus and December Family Potluck **If you have a computer, go to gagems.orgunder departments, AVID, take a look at new editions. **

  2. AVID Recap: Our Data • ISS-Take a look at where we rated ourselves. Highlight areas of weakness in the ratings and an area in the narrative for us to focus on. • Grades: Data and Current issues: • CST data: How did the AVID students contribute to our API? • PSC Review data: The AVID tutorials that were visited were ranked as Competent or Highly Competent on the PSC rubric.

  3. WICOR Rollout: • PSC Review Goals: • 70% or more of staff participate in an observation cycle • 50% of students will be actively engaged in a tutorial session / socratic seminar at least once a week. • Teachers have been trained and/or refreshed on Costas levels, 75% of tasks, assignments and discussions given to students in any given class will be cognitively challenging (COSTAS & QAR).
