Effects of Ionizing Radiation on Biomarkers in Ghrelin and Actin in a Dose-Dependent Study

This study explores the impact of varying doses of ionizing radiation (IR) on key biomarkers such as T-SOD, GPX, and MDA in biological samples post-treatment. Specifically, we examine how doses of 0.2 Gy, 2 Gy, and 5 Gy affect the protein levels of these antioxidants and lipid peroxidation markers, and their correlation with ghrelin and actin expressions. The findings contribute to understanding cellular responses to IR and potential therapeutic implications in radiation treatment contexts.
