  2. HOW CAN I BEST HONOR THE LORD JESUS TODAY? Key Doctrine: Glorious Grace Election is the gracious purpose of God, according to which He regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and glorifies sinners in Christ. It is the glorious display of God’s sovereign goodness, and is infinitely wise, holy, and unchangeable. It excludes boasting – except in Christ – and promotes humility. Biblical Truth: Jesus is worthy of everlasting honor for providing the way of eternal life for believers. Life Goal: To help you honor Jesus throughout your life. Where possible, seek to make your prayers specific. For example, pray for specific believers to experience spiritual unity who may be experiencing disunity. • Your Mission, should you choose to accept it: • Pray that your attitudes, actions, and words will honor Christ this week. • Live this week with the awareness that you will have multiple occasions to demonstrate your obedience to Jesus’ teachings. • Pray for your church that all members will desire to live in unity so as to advance Christ’s mission in the world. • Praise God for the glorious future in heaven that awaits all believers.
