Position of the town • Southern Moravia – Southern Moravian region; Mikulov is situated 50 kilometres south-east of Brno • The first written records originate from the year 1173 • The altitude: 242 m • Area: 4533 ha • Foothills of the Palava hills (amongst rich vineyards and green area of the Southern Moravia), south borders with Austria • The town is located between three hills: Zámecký vrch (the castle), Kozí hrádek (Goat tower) and Turold, under the Holly Hill Tento projekt je spolufinancován Evropským sociálním fondem a státním rozpočtem České republiky.
