Introduction Writing skill is one of the parts of language skills.Writing skill are specific abilities which help writers put their thoughts into words in a meaningful form and to mentally interact with the message. If learners have mastered these skills, they will be able to write so that not only they can read what they have written, but other speakers of that language can read and understand it.

  4. What do we mean by writing skills? ( handwriting, spelling, punctuation, sentence construction, organizing a text and paraphrasing, text cohesion, register/style?) Handwriting is a person's particular & individual style of writing with pen or pencil, which contrasts with “Hand" which is an impersonal and formalized writing style in several historical varieties. Spelling is a constant problem. In the last analysis, incorrect spelling distracts the reader and detracts from the authority of the author.

  5. Punctuation is the act or system of punctuating or the act of adding or placing punctuation marks (full stop, comma, semicolon, and etc) • Sentence construction is a group of words that consist of two main parts such as subject and predicate • Organizing a text is input to the text into the form of a text file.

  6. In writing paragraphs there are two commonly used writing styles such as: Indented Style and Block Style • Cohesion is achieved when writers connect their organized parts with sufficiently clear and numerous signals

  7. How can you encourage students to write?Motivating students to write can be difficult. But writing can be motivating and enjoyable.
